On January 21, 2025, the Little Elm Town Council made a significant decision by unanimously renewing its residential and commercial solid waste contract with Community Waste Disposal (CWD) for an extended period of 10 years. CWD has been a vital service provider for the Little Elm community since 1998, a time when the area was comprised of merely 800 single-family homes. Remarkably, the community has experienced a substantial growth of 1,984%, now boasting over 16,671 single-family residences.

CWD’s exceptional service quality, competitive pricing, and active engagement within Little Elm highlight their role as a dedicated community partner. Collaborations with various local organizations include the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce, Little Elm Rotary, St. Arbor Community Garden, Keep Little Elm Beautiful, and the Little Elm Independent School District.

CWD staff collaborate closely with the Town of Little Elm to develop and execute innovative recycling initiatives and sustainable programs aimed at enhancing the community’s environmental stewardship. This partnership has yielded significant accolades, with the Town receiving national, state, and regional recognition for its exemplary environmental programs. Furthermore, CWD is dedicated to supporting these efforts by servicing the Town with a fleet of Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles, which underscores their commitment to promoting cleaner and more sustainable practices within the community.

We value our consecutive 27-year partnership with the Town of Little Elm and its residents and are grateful for the continued support. We look forward to providing our award-winning residential solid waste services to Little Elm residents over the next 10 years!
