Jason A. Roemer

Meet Jason A. Roemer, age 35. In 2008, Jason graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas. That fall he enrolled at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater Oklahoma. In 2012, Jason received his undergraduate degree in Management/Marketing. Continuing his education at Oklahoma State, in 2014 he received an MBA with a focus/specialty in Financial Risk Management.

In 2014, Jason gained employment at a firm specializing in Health & Safety Compliance for major Oil & Gas Refineries. Three years later, Jason joined CWD in May 2017. Starting as a Municipal Coordinator, Jason’s assignment was to maintain the contracts of several of CWD‘s municipal clients and to seek new municipal opportunities. He learned the business rapidly, earning the respect and admiration of fellow CWD teammates and client partnership personnel. One of Jason‘s early success stories was in 2019 when, in that calendar year, he signed and transitioned six new municipal contracts.

In October 2021, Jason was promoted to the position of Vice President with a greater focus on CWD’s operations, including safety, collection routes, vehicle maintenance, Cap X expenditures, and business development.

Jason and his wife, Kristi, live in Dallas with their son, Paxton. Jason is a proud father and when he isn’t chasing a two-year-old around he enjoys playing golf, having dinners with his family, and participating in game nights with friends.

In 1984, with two employees, one truck, and zero customers, I started Community Waste Disposal. It’s truly remarkable to reflect on the incredible achievement of CWD, which has proudly positioned itself among the top 25 out of approximately 7,000 waste and recycling companies across the United States. We are the largest locally owned and operated solid waste hauler in the Metroplex. This extraordinary success is a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of the exceptional men and women who make up the CWD team.

What is next for me? After 40 years as CWD’s first and only President, I will continue my role with CWD as Chief Executive Officer. I will maintain an office at CWD and many of our existing and future customers will continue to see me at various events, including driver luncheons, council meetings, and contract discussions.

Sincerely,

Greg A. Roemer, Chief Executive Officer
