In partnership with the City of Wylie, Community Waste Disposal provides a comprehensive program for all refuse and recycling needs.
Trash will be collected once a week. Please refer to the Service Schedule tab to determine your specific pickup day.
All trash must be placed in bags inside the grey 95-gallon trash cart.
Place all trash items out no later than 7:00 am for pickup between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on your service day. Please ensure the trash receptacles and the recycle cart are separated by at least three (3) feet, and are at least three (3) feet away from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters, and drainage ditches. Please ensure there is a 16-foot clearance above your cart. Position the trash cart with the wheels toward the residence. Trash placed outside of the cart will not be serviced.

Bulk & Brush Collection
Bulky waste and brush will be collected Wednesday through Saturday.
For bulk and brush pickup, you must call CWD Customer Service at 972.392.9300, Option 2, prior to 5:00 pm Tuesday for same week pickup. A maximum of six (6) cubic yards of bulk and brush items will be picked up per service, with a limit of 24 cubic yards per year.
Important! CWD does not provide pickup for commercial demolition, construction, nor remodeling debris. Household debris must be containerized to be eligible for pickup. The box or other disposable container must be no larger than 2′ x 2′ x 4′ and weigh no more than 50 pounds.
Place bulk and brush items curbside by 7:00 am Wednesday morning for your scheduled pickup.
Tree limbs must be placed with trunks parallel to the street without obstructing the sidewalk. Individual items or bundles must weigh less than 50 pounds, and be no longer than 10 feet.
For retrieval of brush that exceeds these measurements, please call CWD Customer Service to arrange for a special pickup.

- Loose Debris (Debris must be placed in a box or other container no larger than 2′ x 2′ x 4′ and weigh no more than 50 pounds.)
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Used Electronics may be disposed of at Clean Up Green Up Events.
X-treme Green Events
CWD will host two X-treme Green Events per year in the City of Wylie.
An X-treme Green Event is a one-stop place to dispose of household hazardous waste, automotive tires, used electronics and household metal goods. Confidential document shredding is also available on site.
CWD provides all Commercial Trash and Recycling Services in the City of Wylie.
