In partnership with the City of Hackberry, CWD provides a comprehensive program for all refuse and recycling needs.
Trash will be collected once a week, on Wednesday.
Household trash must fit inside your city-provided 95-gallon cart. All 95-gallon carts and recycling containers shall not be stored at curbside. Carts and recycling containers shall be returned within 24 hours after scheduled pickup. Return them to a sight line within or adjoining the residence or inside a storage area which is located behind the front building line of your residence.
Please place all trash inside bags before putting it into the cart and confirm the lid is completely closed. Up to 5 bags of trash outside of the cart will be accepted.
Place all trash items out no later than 7:00 am for pickup between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm on your service day. Please ensure the trash cart and recyclable items are separated by at least 10 feet, and three (3) feet away from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters, and drainage ditches. Position the trash cart with handles toward the street.
Recycling will be picked up every other week, on Wednesday.
All recyclables must be placed inside the blue 95-gallon recycle cart. If you have additional items to recycle, please put them inside blue bags, Kraft bags, or cardboard boxes and place them next to the recycle cart.
