Staff will be on hand to help unload items from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, in the parking lot just south of Town Hall (at the intersection of Bowen and Winewood). For safety and efficiency, please follow all posted signage including where to enter and exit. The event may end early if the container reaches capacity.

Household hazardous waste (HHW) will *NOT* be accepted. This includes items like batteries, paint, solvents, and yard or pool chemicals. CWD provides curbside collection of properly bagged HHW on the third Wednesday of each month. Request a bag by calling 972-392-9300 (option 2), emailing [email protected], or downloading the CWD app.

Other items that cannot be accepted:

• Medical waste, pills, or needles
• Electronics and smoke detector
• Tires of any size
• Ammunition or explosives
• Butane or propane cylinders
• Freon appliances
• Hazardous or regulated material (e.g., asbestos, lead paint, and mercury thermostats)
