CWD would like to welcome our new Assistant General Manager, JB Sweeney!
JB attended Tyler Junior College and Austin College (Sherman, Texas) and holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. Prior to entering the Solid Waste Industry, he was self-employed. Since then, JB has had 23+ years of Solid Waste management and leadership experience that includes vast knowledge of the DFW Metroplex.
As Assistant General Manager, JB is responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and quality customer service within CWD’s Residential and Commercial collection operations. He also assists the Safety Department to ensure employee and public safety, and works to create and maintain strong business relationships with our municipalities.
