Community Waste Disposal was delighted to participate in the Town of Little Elm’s Citizens Government Academy on Wednesday, September 20. The academy gives citizens an inside look at how municipal government operates. Armed with the knowledge they learn, citizens are, in turn, asked to improve their community.
Each week, Town directors and staff members present departmental overviews and CWD was on this week’s agenda. CWD’s Municipal Coordinator for Little Elm, Robert Medigovich, spoke about trash and recycling routes, schedules, customer service, and more. Vicky Escobedo, CWD’s Residential Supervisor for Little Elm, was on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate the Automated Side Load (ASL) truck. Residents were eager to operate the truck!
Thank you, Town of Little Elm, it was wonderful to exchange information with your residents!
