Recycling is easy in the City of Frisco. Follow these steps and we’ll do the rest:
- Roll out your cart for service.
- Place cart at least three (3) feet away from any obstacles.
- Read directions on the lid.
- Place recyclable items, which are illustrated on the lid, in your cart -- not the trash.
- Remove caps on bottles and jars.
- Rinse out or empty products before placing in the cart.
“DO” Recycle:
- Aluminum and Steel Cans
- Cardboard
- Catalogues
- Cereal and Dry Food boxes
- Envelopes
- Glass (colored and white)
- Greeting cards

- Junk mail
- Magazines
- Newspapers
- Phone books
- Clean Plastic Containers and Bottles - numbers 1 – 7 except 6
- Shredded paper (please place in paper bag to avoid scattering during collection)

“DON’T” Recycle:
- Aluminum foil
- Aerosol cans
- Ceramic cookware
- Packing Peanuts

- Pizza boxes
- Styrofoam
- Tissue Paper
- Waxed juice/milk cartons

Do not recycle common household hazardous waste in the curbside recycling cart.
Household hazardous waste includes:
- Paints, solvents and thinners.
- Pool chemicals.
- Garden fertilizers and Pesticides.
- Propane/helium tanks.
- Automobile products and parts.
