We’re CWD, Community Waste Disposal, the largest privately owned waste management company in the DFW metroplex. Our ventures began in 1984 where we started out with only two trucks and two employees. Since then we’ve worked hard to develop a reputation for reliable, on-time service, while offering various selections of hauling schedules, equipment and recycling programs in the industry. Now in 2015 we have grown to over 125 trucks and over 225 staff and counts Lincoln Property Company, CB Richard Ellis, and Cassidy Turley among its private clients. CWD also has “exclusive” contracts to service 13 municipalities with the same goal in mind, doing what is best for our customers. Thank you for visiting our web site. Feel free to contact us by phone at 972.392.9300 or write us a note with the email link found in the Contact Us section.
North American Hazardous Materials Management Association (NAHMMA) recognized Community Waste Disposal at the 30th Annual Hazardous Materials Management Conference for their innovative “X-treme Green Event” and curbside Household Hazardous and Used Electronic Collection programs.
These waste diversion programs allow residents a safe way to properly dispose of household hazardous and electronic waste, tires, large metal items and personal confidential documents.
The following cities actively participate in these programs through CWD: City of Azle, City of Corinth, City of Farmersville, City of Forney, City of Wylie and Town of Little Elm.
