Allen residents who live in apartment complexes can place their recyclables in special CWD containers locted in the complexs' parking lots.Accepted materials:
- Dry un-yellowed newspapers (including inserts), phone books, magazines catalogs, and junk mail.
- Corrugated containers that are broken down.
- Chipboard containers that are broken down. Chipboard, or paperboard, is used to make tissue boxes, cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.

The fees for apartment recycling are assessed to the apartment owner/management company, not to the individual apartment unit.
- plastic bottles #'s 1 - 5 and #7 (numbers can be found inside chasing arrows on side or bottom of bottles)
- flattened aluminum drink cans
- tin/steel cans, empty aerosol cans
- unbroken glass bottles and jars
