Allen LogoAllen residents who live in apartment complexes can place their recyclables in special CWD containers locted in the complexs' parking lots.

Accepted materials:
  • Dry un-yellowed newspapers (including inserts), phone books, magazines catalogs, and junk mail.
  • Corrugated containers that are broken down.
  • Chipboard containers that are broken down. Chipboard, or paperboard, is used to make tissue boxes, cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.
  • Acceptable containers are:
  • plastic bottles #'s 1 - 5 and #7 (numbers can be found inside chasing arrows on side or bottom of bottles)
  • flattened aluminum drink cans
  • tin/steel cans, empty aerosol cans
  • unbroken glass bottles and jars
The fees for apartment recycling are assessed to the apartment owner/management company, not to the individual apartment unit.
