HH & EW Materials

We are allowed to accept most household chemicals, household hazardous waste materials and used electronic waste items, but not all. The most common items are listed below. We do not accept business or home-business waste through this program.

HH &EW General Guidelines

+ Place your household hazardous & electronic waste inside the bag. Do not overfill the bag.

+ Only the bag provided to you may be used.

+ Bag must be closed securely.

+ Place all electronics, auto batteries & fluorescent tubes in cardboard boxes outside the bag. Wrap fluorescent tubes together with tape if there are more than once. If available, use the original packaging.

When & Where to Place the Bag


On Collection Day

1. Place the secured bag near your entrance door, garage or other area near the front of your home.
Do not place the bag in or near an alley, curb or street.
Do not allow pets or children access to the bag.

2. Place the secured bag out for collection by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.

3. Place electronic items, auto pbatteries and fluorescent bulbs, in cardboard boxes, next to the filled bag.

How To Pack Your Bag


1. Check each container. If any do not have labels, use those provided or clearly mark the container. We cannot accept unknown materials.

2. If a container leaks, bag it and label it. Place all labeled items into the bag; do not overfill it.

3. Place electronic items, auto pbatteries and fluorescent bulbs, in cardboard boxes, next to the filled bag.
