In partnership with the City of Wylie, Community Waste Disposal provides a comprehensive program for all refuse and recycling needs.
To help keep Wylie beautiful, please bag all trash before putting in your 95 gallon carts.
Carts must be property placed by 7 am on your pickup day and will be serviced between 7 am and 7 pm.
All items must fit inside your cart, the lid must be completely closed, and the cart handles should be facing your home. Trash outside of the carts will NOT be serviced.
Carts should be placed at the edge of your driveway or curb or alley and should be at least three (3) feet each other and from any obstacle.

All recycling materials can be placed in the blue 95 gallon carts. Collection is provided weekly on the same day as trash collection.
Recycling guidelines – rinse all bottles and cans and throw away all caps and sprayers.

Limit of 6 cubic yards per pickup
Limit of 24 cubic yards per contract year (September 1 - August 31).
Individual brush limbs may not exceed 15 ft. in length, 6 inches in diameter, 50 lbs. in weight.
For excess brush & bulk call CWD to request an estimate for removal.

Commercial & industrial customers have a variety of equipment and service options from which to choose.
Front load containers – available in 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 cubic yard sizes. Service is available up to 6X/Wk.
Open top roll-off containers – can be for permanent service or for temporary service and service can be on a schedule or on an on-call basis. Temporary service is available for individuals as well as businesses.
Compactors – can be rented and hauling can be on schedule or on-call.
