Community Waste Disposal

In partnership with the City of Watauga, Community Waste Disposal provides a comprehensive program for all refuse and recycling needs. Watauga residents will receive once a week trash and recycling service on the same day. See the Service Map for your designated service day.

All 95 gallon trash carts shall be placed at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your designated collection day, Carts and recycling bins shall not be placed out for collection earlier than 5:00 p.m. of the day prior to your scheduled collection. The cart should be placed at the edge of the driveway & road with the lid closed and 4 feet of clearance space on either side and behind the cart. Please place the 95 gallon cart handle facing your house, and within 3 feet of the curb. Please place all debris in the cart. Trash outside of and Overloaded carts will not be serviced.

Trash carts and bins shall not be stored at curbside. After your scheduled pickup, make reasonable efforts to store carts out of public view in your garage, behind a screening fence on the property or other area wherein such cart is not visible from the street.
