In partnership with the City of Allen to keep Allen beautiful, CWD provides a comprehensive program for all refuse and recycling needs. Trash services are provided weekly. Please see schedule map at bottom of page.
Carts must be properly placed by 7 a.m. on your pickup day.
All trash items must fit inside your city-provided 95-gallon cart. All 95-gallon carts and recycling containers shall not be stored at curbside. Carts and recycling containers shall be returned within 24 hours after scheduled pickup to a sight line within or adjoining the residence, or inside a storage area which is located behind the front building line of your residence.
Please place all trash inside bags before putting into cart. Trash outside the cart shall not be serviced.
The cart should be placed at the edge of the driveway and road with the lid COMPLETELY CLOSED with the handle facing the residence. Parked vehicles and other obstacles (i.e., gas meters, fences, electrical boxes, cable boxes, etc.) should be at least 2 feet from the trash cart.
See pictures below for proper placement of carts.
